I'm where you are at I just lost my best friend/partner we been together 12 yrs with many years of camping and memories. This year we bought a new TT and a newer truck to pull it we got to do alot of camping since we bought it. I don't want to stop camping but I don't want to pull that the TT alone so I'm thinking selling it and buying a small used class C so I can still go to the rallies we enjoyed going to and camping trips with my son and his GF.

Today's Packer game got me thinking about Bob. He would have been PO'd the way things were going for the Bears today. I raise my glass to you Bob!
As for the Badger game yesterday, I turned to it at half-time and saw the score was 21-7. It made me turn the channel until I came back toward the end of the 4th quarter. I don't deserve to wear Badger red...:(

We decided on Illinois Beach. Going up tomorrow.

PS, Mike, it really IS because of Bob that I made the appointments to get myself checked out today. As sad as it is that Bob is gone, it's only because of his illness that I made the appointments I did and started taking control of my own healthcare. Thank you, Bob!

I'm glad you are going for a checkup. I know it has to be uncomfortable getting a boob smashed between two steel plates but it's worth not having to put your family thru what I'm going thru.

I told that at our High school football game Friday they had moment of silence in Bobs honor I thought that very nice we work for a great school dist. :B

Bob's memorial service was very nice.
Thank you all for the flowers even tho they were green and gold it was a nice arraignment. I know Bob had a smile. There were alot of people wore Bears sweatshirts and there was a mix up with the memorial cards so the funeral director printed out some with da Bears locale on them

Very sorry to hear about Bob. I hope you find the strength to bear through this and I hope to see you soon at another camping outing.
I plan to keep camping not as much as Bob and I did but I still want to go to rallies and trips up by my son in Plover WI. so I'm sure we'll meet up somewhere just look for Bobs Bears flag flying above our camper.

This will be a football theme memorial in honor of Bob’s love of da Bears, Wear Your Favorite Football Attire (I'll have special spot for Packed fans :B)
Bob will be cremated his ashes will be buried with his mom and dad.

Chuck thanks for posting about the update at caring bridge I meant to but I was exhausted last night and it slipped my mind.
I would like to thank every for your prayers and support it's been a very rough 2 weeks. Bob and I were gonna surprise everyone last Saturday and show up at rally Saturday for a couple hours but after his Radiation Treatment Saturday morning Bob was just to wiped out.
I'll be making the Funeral arraignments later this morning.
Thank you again for being great friends.
